ABOUT THE POSITION

Permascand AB has been delivering electrodes and aftermarket services to the chemical industry for over 50 years. Recently, the company merged with Magneto Special Anodes, forming a group with production facilities in Ljungaverk, the Netherlands, and China, consisting of approximately 300 employees. Together, the ambition is to build a world-leading company in the development and manufacturing of catalytic coatings and electrodes.

At Permascand, around 100 employees work, and the headquarters is located in Ljungaverk, where the business conducts research and development, technology development, and production. As a designer, you will belong to the engineering department, which consists of designers, product owners, automation engineers, production engineers, and a prototype workshop.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

As a designer, you will work with both new and existing products in internal and external projects. You will also work on the design of equipment, fixtures, and other aids for your own production.

You will, among other things:

• Participate in the development of new products and production equipment
• Be responsible for ensuring that drawing management in customer projects is conducted according to requirements and guidelines
• Support internal and external customers with technical expertise

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has previous work experience in mechanical design, preferably with post-secondary education
• Has good experience with 3D-CAD
• Has good knowledge of English and Swedish in both spoken and written form, as it is required in dialogue with customers and colleagues

It is a merit if you have

• Experience with the business system Monitor
• Experience with welded constructions
• Knowledge in sheet metal processing
• Experience in tool manufacturing
